CSPplus Discount Dollars

When your school places a consolidated order on behalf of parents with the CSPplus, CSPplus Discount Dollars accrue for your school at the rate of 15% of the value of orders.

Schools placing a consolidated order (one per promotion) with the CSPplus on behalf of parents will automatically receive a bonus $100 in CSPplus Discount Dollars in addition to the 15% of the value of the parent orders. When parents place orders directly with the CSPplus and nominate a particular school in the process CSPplus Discount Dollars accrue for a school at the rate of 15% of the value of orders.

CSPplus Discount Dollars are both valuable and flexible with a life of 12 months from the date of issue.

CSPplus Discount Dollars can be used to pay for a predetermined Portion of the retail price of a range of products listed in this CSPplus Discount Dollar Catalogue, including computers, printers, EdAlive licences and other software.

The Portion of the value of the products to which CSPplus Discount Dollars can be applied varies from product to product. For instance you can currently apply them to l00% of the value of licences for some EdAlive software but to a much smaller Portion of the value of a Lenovo computer. CSPplus Discount Dollars may also apply be used to pay for the freight component of a redemption order.

CSPplus Discount Dollars may not be used in conjunction with any other offer, cannot be exchanged for cash or to purchase any items not listed in the most current CSPplus Discount Dollar Catalogue. CSPplus Discount Dollars may only be redeemed for products that are currently available. Should a product be unavailable we reserve the right to substitute a similar product.

We will issues appropriate documentation to allow your school to track the value of your CSPplus Discount Dollars.

The amount of the CSPplus Discount Dollars will be calculated at 15% of the value of the orders placed with the CSPplus either in bulk by the school or by individual parent orders placed during the previous month. It will be the school’s responsibility to keep track of the relevant CSPplus Discount Dollars documentation.

From the catalogue, select the items you wish to purchase, noting the Portion of each with which CSPplus Discount Dollars can be redeemed.

Using the CSPplus Discount Dollar Order Form, list the products you have selected together with their RRP, Portion for Redemption, Amount Payable and Item Code Tally the “Portion for Redemption” and “Amount Payable” columns and ensure that your CSPplus Discount Dollars are sufficient to cover the amount in the “Portion for Redemption” tally and understand that your school will be invoiced for any amount in the “Amount Payable” tally box.

If the total of the CSPplus Discount Dollars you wish to redeem is less than the total of the “Portion for Redemption” tally box then add the difference to the “Amount Payable” tally box. Fax or post your completed order form, together with the relevant CSPplus Discount Dollar documentation, to us at the CSPplus.

Current valid EdAlive Discount Vouchers earnt by your school through previous CSP programmes can be redeemed on products offered in this CSPplus Discount Dollar Catalogue in the same manner as the new CSPplus Discount Dollars.

The commercial and licensing arrangements for each product in our range vary. With the introduction of the CSPplus we are able to offer schools the opportunity to redeem their CSPplus Discount Dollars on a broader range of titles than in the past. As we have greater control over our own EdAlive titles we are able to allow schools to redeem their CSPplus Discount Dollars against 100% of their value on a range of these titles. On the other hand we cannot be so generous with Lenovo computers as they have a fixed manufactured cost and we must purchase them from Lenovo.

We have carefully determined this redeemable Portion for each product to give schools the maximum benefit possible when redeeming their CSPplus Discount Dollars.

Those familiar with our past EdAlive Discount Vouchers for the CSP will recall that we offered them at 100% of the value of the CSP orders.

Given the higher value and the type of goods offered in the CSPplus it was obviously not possible for us to maintain this rate. As well as automatically issuing $100 in CSPplus Discount Dollars to schools returning consolidated orders we have set the rate for CSPplus Discount Dollars at 15% of the value of parent orders. We estimate that the schools will, on average, receive the same dollar value or greater in CSPplus Discount Dollars as they did for EdAlive Discount Voucher for the old CSP and have the flexibility to redeem them against a greater range of goods.
